Enrolment in Heritage International Public School implies on the part of the pupils and parents, willingness to comply with the rules and regulations of the school, failing which the student is liable for disciplinary action.

  • Every Student must be in possession of his school diary on all working days. Non –Compliance with this rule may debar the student from attending school for the day.
  • As per the CBSE bye –laws, students are to maintain 75% attendance every month, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for their Board/School Annual examinations.
  • The purpose of regular attendance is to inculcate in the students traits of punctuality, regularity and academic discipline. To be eligible for promotion, a student must have a minimum of 75% attendance. Absence from the school without leave is not tolerated except when the cause is sudden illness or unforeseen circumstances in which case the information must be given at the earliest.
  • If any appointment is to be made with the doctor, it should be made after school hours.
  • Parents are to inform the school authorities if their child is suffering from any serious ailment, physical handicap or sensory defect (e.g. heart disorder or epilepsy).In case chicken pox, covid, measles, mumps or other contagious diseases, the parents are requested to maintain the requisite quarantine period, before the child is sent back to the school, along with a fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
  • In case a child falls sick/meets with an accident in the school premises he can be helped with immediate first aid only. The parents will be informed and are expected to come and attend immediately. It is important to give the correct contact numbers in the diary and update it whenever there is a change.
  • Attendance is compulsory on the first day, after the vacations and the last working day before school vacations.
  • Parents are requested to be careful about the attendance of their wards, as intimated through progress reports/diaries.
  • Students who have been absent for three(3) consecutive days or more, are requested to submit a formal application along with a medical certificate to the Class Teacher , on the day of joining the school after leave.
  • A student who does not have a diary entry/medical certificate on the day he rejoins school, will not be granted attendance for the day.
  • Names of the students who have been absent from school, for over ten (10) days, without any formal intimation to school, are liable to be struck off the rolls of the school. Re- admission has to be sought again, with the payment of Re – admission fees of Rs. 2,500/- with the prior permission of the Principal.
  • Attending all school functions and celebrations is compulsory. This regulation also applies when such activities take place beyond school hours.
  • Students should be punctual & should reach the school 5 minutes before school timing. School gate will be closed after 10 minutes of reporting time & students will not be allowed to the school once the gates are closed.

  • Parents, guardians and students are being made aware that the menace of ragging in educational institutions is prohibited by law and hence is a cognizable offence.
  • Any loss sustained by the school for wrongful damage , destruction or loss caused to its property and belongings by students , individually or collectively , may be recovered by imposing a fine on the individual or community of errant as a whole and realized the same from the source that includes their security money.
  • Students whose conduct is harmful to the moral tone of the school or incompatible with strict discipline (violation includes disobedience, resorting to unfair means during tests; stealing or any form of obscenity; either orally or in writing) are liable to stern action on such activity.
  • Students should address all members of the Staff with courtesy and politeness. Refinement of manners, uprightness and the self restraint should be characteristic of every student in the school.
  • No student is allowed to carry a mobile phone or any other electronic gadget to school.
  • Exploding crackers or splashing colors during Diwali/Holi or any other occasion within the school premises is strictly forbidden. Non –compliance of these instructions can result in expulsion from the school.
  • Before and after school hours there should not be any loitering of students in and outside school.
  • School uniform is a sacred and prized possession of the student who wears it. It symbolizes the ethos and culture of the school, of which the student is an integral part. Tearing the school uniform, spoiling the shirts with ink stains or scribbling indecent messages on it, amounts to violating the sacred value of the uniform. This calls for firm disciplinary action including, dismissal from the school.
  • Visiting public places (like clubs; theatres; restaurants; shopping malls and markets etc) in school uniform is strictly prohibited and students are liable for suspension, if found doing so.
  • Students are not allowed to bring any valuable things such as Golden Chain, Wrist watches, lockets, Ear rings etc.
  • The school is not responsible for articles lost.
  • The name, class and section of the student should be clearly marked on all belongings of the student.
  • All Birthday celebrations in the school would allow just two small chocolates per child. Cakes and return gifts strictly not allowed.
  • If the students go for leave, parents must inform the school and take permission for that.
  • Each student must come to school in neat and clean uniform with proper school shoes nicely polished.

  • Heritage International Public School being English –Medium School makes an effort to teach the students to handle English effectively as a written and spoken language. All students must speak only in English in the school campus.
  • Parents are to exercise their consent in writing to the school in case they want their wards to participate in excursion/educational tour/picnic etc.
  • organized by the school. While all reasonable measures, and care for the safety of the students will be taken by the school, the management does not accept any liability in the course of and out of travel by bus or in other mode of travel during such excursion/ educational tour/picnic etc., in case of any accident, theft, robbery, dacoity or for any other reasons.
  • The school is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings. Parents are requested to see that no expensive articles are brought to school.
  • Students are not allowed to give personal gifts to any member to the Staff.
  • If a parent is called by the school authority, prompt response is expected from the parents.

  • In all matters regarding admission and promotion, the Principal's decision is final.
  • Admission to any class is strictly based on merit, conduct and its subject to the availability of seats.
  • Admission may be refused on grounds of indiscipline even if the candidate is eligible by merit.
  • 75% attendance is necessary for Promotion (Unless medically unfit).
  • Promotion at the end of the year will be based on attendance, Continuous Assessment in every subject, work done during the year and the overall conduct record.
  • If a student misses any Assessment/Unit/Class test, no re – examination will be taken.
  • Parents are requested not to send their sick wards to school only to do a test. No examination or grade is more important than the well being of the child.
  • Breach of any of the regulations of conduct at examinations or indiscipline in or outside the hall will be dealt with strictly. A student guilty of disorderly conduct or responsible for causing any kind of disturbance in or near the examination room is liable to be refused admission to subsequent papers.
  • The use of unfair means, if discovered will merit the cancellation of that particular paper and the student concerned will be given a zero in that paper.
  • A student is not expected to have in his possession any book memorandum, pocket book, notes or papers whatsoever during the examination.
  • Attempt to cheat or possession of any of the above may result in suspension and in the event of a serious nature – to be judged by the Principal – may result in dismissal from school. A student who is guilty of pre-meditated cheating will be given TC at the end of the school year.
  • All dues have to be cleared before the Annual Examination.
  • After the declaration of final results, parents or students cannot put forth any request for consideration to the Principal or any other staff member, regarding promotion.
  • Parents should make it convenient to attend the Parent Teacher meetings in the interest of their wards.
